Ms. Choo's Kitchen @Connaught Avenue, Taman Connaught (Closed)

For our special day this year, I decided to make it special to try new places for food. Thus, I went on GroupOn to search for good deals and I found this place where it serves 3-course meal with the price of RM35 for 2 people. Therefore, I decided to go for it.

Ms. Choo's Kitchen is located at Connaught Avenue, a newly developed residential condominium. It is quite out of the usual strategic main road location. The restaurant is walking distance from Econsave, Taman Connaught. Despite the not-so-strategic-location, they have many customers coming in. The ambience of the restaurant is very cozy, it brings out the "home-cooked food" feeling. They serve from Mexican Nachos to Pastas, Nasi Lemak to Ribeye Steak. However, their price is quite affordable.

I shall let the photos do the talking :

Entrance

They proudly state on the cover of the menu that they do not have additional MSG to their dishes.

Carrot Soup. My first time, not bad.

Mushroom and Chicken Soup - It tasted a little weird though.

Lamb Shoulder

Norwegian Salmon with Capers Sauce

The Comeback made by Ms. Choo, herself - Aglio Olio with added Chicken and Mushroom

ABC - very big portion, good for sharing

Comments: As we were using GroupOn voucher, the meal was only RM35.00 for 2, which was quite worth it compared to the original price which is RM70++. As for the lamb shoulder, it was really very rubbery and burnt. We then provided our feedback to the waitress attended to us. In our surprise, Ms. Choo herself came and did a good comeback by offering us the same dish. However, we were quite full, she then suggested pasta, which was on the house.
