Ginger Wine Noodle at the famous Imbi Market

As a tourist or a local in Kuala Lumpur (KL), there is a place that you must know for food, it is Pasar Baru Bukit Bintang, which is best known as Imbi market. This place is not just a market as the name portrays, it is definitely a food paradise. The market is located just a stone throw from the commercial area, thus, this place tend to be a breakfast and lunch hot spot for people working around Bukit Bintang and Imbi area. One of the must-eat dish at Imbi market is the Ginger Wine Noodle.

It has been years that my mum and I are the regular customers for this aunty's stall as she serves pretty darn tasty Ginger Wine Noodle. They usually serve mee hoon (rice vermicelli), however, I do not take mee hoon much, thus I usually custom made my order into Ginger Wine Kuey Teow which tastes as good =D.

The stall is located near the main entrance of the market. The best part of dining at Imbi market is that we can order from any stalls and bring it over to our table.

Aunty is a professional fire handler =D

Ginger Wine Noodle before adding wine.

There we are, delicious Ginger Wine Noodle with added wine. The noodle contains fried egg with ginger, prawn, pork and intestine. It is priced at RM8.00 per bowl which  is pretty worth the price.

p.s. The market is said to move to a new building, Integrated Commercial Complex (ICC) as the current area will be developed into the Tun Razak Exchange financial district located in Jalan Davis.

Comment: The bowl of Ginger Wine Noodle is just perfect to start your day as the gingery taste gives a little punch in your taste bud to make you up and ready for the day.

Opening hour: Opens for breakfast and brunch, closed on Mondays.
